Google's authenticator app is pretty nice if you use your account in public places, but if you have a smartphone chances are you'll just use that unless you really need to sit at a keyboard to write a long e-mail. A lot of people haven't touched their account settings in years which makes resetting it a PITA. I've seen a ton of hacked Hotmail accounts lately tho, I'm sure it's pretty much always the user's fault but it's pretty alarming. I find it fits my use just perfect tho, the conversation view and labels are great for personal use, and Yahoo's traditional folders are great for separating bills from logins from work/study stuff and archiving it. I've noticed this seems much harder for people who were hardcore Outlook users in the past (strict folders/inbox paradigm). Gmail's interface is great if you can wrap your head around labels and such. I access Gmail thru the dedicated app on Android, the rest thru IMAP. Spam filters are finally just about equally efficient across all three, don't have an issue w/any of 'em. All i do is have hotmail forward everything to gmail, and gmail sends out emails using my. Yeah, Gmail for personal use here, Yahoo for all my bills/logins/notifications/deal blasts/etc, and my college address is an MS hosted deal so it's on Windows Live or w/e they're calling it now.
